Hospital Indemnity Plans
The number one issue that we see as an insurance brokerage with health insurance are a combination of high deductibles and high max out of pocket (MOOP).
When someone is hit with this scenario, they are usually on the hook for 5-9 thousand dollars a year before insurance picks up the rest of the costs.
The solution that we have found at Sentinel Financial is to offer what is called a hospital indemnity plan. These are made to cover the costs of high deductibles and depending on plan - can also pay for certain medical services.
